So the garden outside the dining hall doesn't seem to have any protective class on the front-side, it's not unreasonable to think there are two "entrances," one for resident use, one for more general/incoming students which is directly available via the front. Our exterior views of the building don't give us a lot to work with.

Looking at the bottom left of the residence hall, it's just a long hallway, this could be attached to any number of other spots in the building and could even be a simple left turn away from the lobby which also houses the Schale Office. There could also be some floor shenanigans involved since we know it's a high-rise.
