Christians never "persecuted" Jews. A few towns in Europe booted Jews over the years. Christians recaptured Spain from the Muslims and kicked out anyone who wasn't Christian. A couple other countries booted Jews because their subjects were upset or because they wanted the wanted Jewish assets. That's it. Meanwhile Romans nearly wiped out Jews and Christians gave them a protected status as soon as they seized power.
