Evil is the opposite of self-destructive. It is selfishness itself. You must kill to eat, you must have the potential to kill to protect. Good is what is born when a collective come together to focus their evil on outsiders. Inside this circle, is “Good”, born from mutual benefit.

Can the circle become corrupted? Yes. But evil is no more self-destructive than Good can be.
