I'm going to be candid, and no one has to believe me, I have ins to the beltway and birds tells me things. A few of these birds told me that sooner or later you will see a pivot inside the Trump administration, in fact it's sort of already happening. There is a plan to have Trump become more aligned with "the swamp", so to say, and many would argue this is happening now. What happens then is eventually Vance will break away from Trump on issues that won Trump the "populist vote, the firebrand vote, the vengeance vote" whatever you want to call it, to start getting rapport with the "based" crowd.
But it's all a show to keep that coalition engaged. More bread, more circuses. Over 40 years of this shit and it never changes except the stakes get higher as they try to keep it all from blowing up in their faces.
