I've actually had a decent approach to this lately that works as a decent filtering system when it comes to stupid "muh politics" holes. You see, I deeply follow geopolitics and work for a defense contractor so naturally I hate every party and see only the military industrial complex.

By this point they will either stop there or they will pick my brain and ask me about geopolitical stuff and realize that nothing is what it seems and everyone is being bamboozled with emotional manipulation.

This keeps them engaged thinking they are getting secret knowledge when in reality if you just asked any questions you'd reach the same conclusions

Problem is for a lot of holes it's not good enough to just not be "the evil tribe", you must agree in lockstep or else and you will be tested constantly and you better have the right answer!

That is fucking insufferable.
You don't want my opinion, you want your opinion repeated back to you in a mans voice so it doesn't sound so fucking stupid.
Now add the total selfishness because they think all of society exists to be their servants and should know everything they want instantly!
