It's not about degrading the Iranian military - it's about telling Bibi to go fuck himself. This is the fourth time in my life that Isreal has "decapitated Iran's nuclear program". Nuclear non-proliferation as a policy is toothless and unenforceable. Russia, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea and fucking Israel itself are all prime examples of that. It's inevitable...and if that's true, then diplomacy is the only thing that matters. Just like us and Russia, Israel and Iran are simply going to have to learn to stop lobbing missiles at each other whenever the other kid says mean words in the sandbox. They're both gonna have to learn to play nice.
