A lot of the posts about the story keep bringing up the fact that the male MC (Kazuya) spent more than 0.01$ and how he should learn that money can't buy love. Yeah, putting down that much money on a girl is bad. But the thing that boils the blood of so many readers, and the thing that so many of these posters fail to communicate is that the love interest (Chizuru) drops BIG hints that she feels the same about Kazuya WHILE continuing to be a rent-a-gf. Imagine it.

The latest chapter opens with Chizuru CONFESSING her love to Kazuya followed her giving him a rejection. And what does this simp do? "Oh, I guess that's life lol". This guy is so blinded by love he doesn't understand how injured he's becoming.

At this point I'm rooting for Kazuya to undergo massive ego death, get into drugs, have the local yakuza beat him up to collect whatever loans he took out. At least then I can get some schadenfreude from the story.
