> 1k-3k budget
> Want a thin analog watch
> Date window is a bonus but lack of one isn't a deal breaker
> Casual enough to wear with a T-shirt, fancy enough to wear to a wedding
> For daily, unathletic, wear
Don't want to blogpost, but hoping this additional context can inform whatever advice you all are generous enough to share with me. Never wore a watch until like 2 years ago when I started wearing an Apple Watch and cheap Casio. About a month ago, I impulse bought a Swatch Skin Irony. I now realize this watch has several flaws, but it has given me a taste for wearing a "premium", non-digital watch and quickly taken me down the watchmaking rabbit hole. While I can appreciate the engineering and prestige of Swiss mechanical watches, I prefer something thin, accurate, and minimalist.
Would I be an absolute idiot for dropping $3k on a limited edition Citizen Eco Drive One?
