I was just enjoying Kot thread in meanwhile this is right on topic.

That cat will hardly ever experience the struggle of it's disability thanks to the supportive system it exist in, system build around certain needs.
It's a system of care and appreciation. With help the cat is willing to "fight" deal with it's circumstances, having fulfilling existence, instead of lying on street starving to death.

This is small scale system where it works, "if you fall we are there to catch you".
But as anon said, what started this whole convo, there is fading feeling of social unity/duty to each other and of course no good system set up for individuals falling through to the bottom or to their demise.

If you dont have family or your senpai is fucked up you truly are on bad luck.

So first is having strong family, if you don't have one you can start one, create the supportive pillar, you know what they say "be the change you want to see" and than they must change the mostly to individuals indifferent system.
