Things seem to be heading that way, yeah. Ragatha's coping mechanism is to do and say what she believes everyone wants her to do and say in order to feel trusted, validated and loved by others. She believes that's the only way to earn that kind of approval.
However, in the last three episodes she's been watching Pomni developing a deeper bond with the crew without doing any of that, and even worse, that despite Ragatha's efforts, Pomni isn't opening up to her or even acknowledging her as anything more than a coworker of sorts. Also, watching Pomni grow closer to Jax, who is the absolute antithesis of her is surely eating her from inside. Pomni'd rather hang around the asshole of the group than her.
If the next episodes show Pomni managing to get closer to Zooble (and maybe even Caine), she'll be closer than ever to snapping.
Also I wonder what Gummigoo's cock taste like.
