That kinda fucks up Silent Hill for me. I thought it was meant to be like jellyfish to a light for sinners. Punishment for indulgence. Heather and shit are an exception, they were raised in that abyss from the start and have nothing to feel guilty about - that's why she is in silent hill endless attacking it as it tries to predate on her.
