They're situationally *super* dangerous, but yes they're entirely non issues if they're fighting the sort of fight humans do. That's where the series keeps fucking up.
They're great monsters, but you need to use them wisely otherwise you waste them and make them feel like chumps to the players.
It's all about context. Any tabletop enemy can be a joke in the wrong circumstances.
