She had a problem since her business is pop music and most pop music performers have their biggest sales before age 30. And she was closing in on 30 so what do ? Have a beef with your old record label, claim they stole your music and frame the whole thing as some kind of feminist battle with the evil white males so her little girl fans would support her and buy her re-records. Then when its all done she gets to buy her old catalog at a reduced price since she devalued it. Its nothing personal its just business.
