We should have OC that provides evidence of any relevant happening. But nobody bothers posting it, and even if you had it, you can't post audio to /pol/.
4chan isn't great for dumping content, so people who have content don't come here. Instead, we have screenshots of Twitter posts of a video, and we have to either have a Twitter account, or use a third party downloader to access it.
There's also too much content. Archives are not 100 pictures, but 10,000 pictures and videos. Image board technology hasn't kept up. If you're archiving happenings, you are compelled to find other sources.
All in all, it's a huge chore on both ends and so the quality of this site is gradually declining.
/pol/ is no longer the place for breaking news, but it remains a reliable place to learn about breaking news, and seek out information elsewhere.
