if you're just starting out then the easiest gains are just working on the basic fundamentals. learn how basic shapes look in 3D and eventually move on to learning how to draw the head, torso, etc while keeping perspective, form, light, etc in mind. another good thing is copying art that you like to build up your observation skills over time. it's difficult and not something you'll learn overnight, but consistency is the key to succeeding at any skill

i started with fgo but i play them precisely because they don't take up too much time and you can just pick them up and play whenever while i focus on other hobbies. stories are hit or miss, but 90% of the genre just plays for hot waifus/husbandos anyway so it's not like it really matters. if i wanted "real games" i'd already be playing that
