This flick was nothing but a fucking comedy to us. Highly quoateable, sure. Filled with a bunch of cartoon character clownasses, definitely. But it was no huge deal and it sure as hell didn't paint an accurate picture of "teens in the 90s," which is all you heard about this shit when it came out. No, it was completely ridiculous and we all knew it. Any first-wave millennial thinkpiecers out there trying to spin it like this was some "serious business" kind of thing, weren't fucking there (and I've seen A LOT of this from smuggy leftist types 5-10 years younger than me.) No it was comedy, and should be consumed like comedy. Also
