i recently started watching azumanga after taking a break from anime for a few years and man is it so fucking kino. unlike when i spent a lot of time watching shonen (namely one piece & naruto, never had the willpower to finish either fully) where i felt like i was forcing myself to just grit my teeth and get through it, when it comes to watching azumanga im really savouring each episode and making sure not to rush through the series so i can enjoy it for longer. though i like most of the characters (not chiyo though), my favourite has to be either yukari or yomi. i really wish there were real life foids like yomi. this is snca but the show sort of makes me feel sad in a way, the knowledge that i will never have the friendship, happiness or joy exhibited by any of the azumanga daioh characters sort of makes me want to kill myself because their camaraderie is just too pure and unattainable for this world. when it comes to slice of life anime i find most of it to be either hit or miss, for example i loved nichijou but fucking hated lucky star. i have to say though, azumanga seems like a hit to m
