Remember when in Stormblood, they introduced Mikoto, a cute femra in the Ivalice raid story?

And then in Shadowbringers, they brought her back for Bozja, where near the end she reveals she has feelings for Cid, a male character, completely out of nowhere. Literally nothing even hinted at it prior, not in Ivalice (where Cid was pressent and they had little interaction, none of which was romantic), and not at any point in the Bozja story up until that exact moment. And the best part? She reveals her feelings for Cid RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU while you stand there like a cuck.

I always thought this was purely spiteful to straight male players who may have waifu'd her. Same expansion that introduced a love-interset for Y'shtola btw, this is not a coincidence.
