that's just not true. There was a jew that was 2nd in command of the confederacy, Judah P Benjamin. Washington wrote a letter saying he tolerated jews. Benjamin Franklin donated money to a synagogue. One of the funders of the American Revolution was Haym Salomon.

There were very few jews, but they were around, the basically controlled the slave markets in the south and owned many of the slave plantations.
