I am a Shia Muslim and have no issue reconciling the natural sciences with religion.

The Koran even confirms our understanding of things like the evolution of life, and the Golden Age of Islam laid the foundation of modern science.

"And Allah has created from water every living creature."

- Surah An Nur 45

The natural sciences deepen my faith and love for God. Allah has filled this universe with many wonders that are yet to be discovered.

Iran, the largest Shia Muslim nation, invests heavily in science and produces a high output of scientific research. They even host leading American scientists.

That should tell you something. A Shariah state that invests heavily in science and education, including higher education for women.
