And Jung, more than anyone, would agree that a life devoid of meaning is no different from death. And this is what I am saying - I am repeating Jung, actually - men today NEED to face their soul, they need to face the anima. But they can't do that by pursuing women. The whole concept behind Jung's individuation framework is lonely and solitary by its very architecture.
