The problem is that in order for someone to tell whether the AI is correct or hallucinating, they need to be able to do the job themselves. Also, it turns out, people may actually take more time trying to integrate and rework AI output than doing the work on their own, even though they feel like they're saving time. While I wouldn't doubt that at some point, AI is going to make lots of jobs obsolete, we're not quite there yet.
