>If you put on level scaling and level limits the trainer battles get to be quite hectic and you balancing (de)buffs with trying to stay alive. It also works really well with how they have the trainers set up because you can never get stuff that's too good for that point in the game so you have to work with you have. I've never used so many TMs in a game outside of SV's Mightiest Mark raids and so many status effects in regular trainer battles.
>They did quite a great job with the balancing for the first three worlds with many Captures having stuff like Rollout/Defense Curl, some sort of Wrap-esque move, solid debuffs or buffs, TM moves meant to expand coverage like Thief for Koopa T., and the trainers constantly want you interacting with this stuff instead of just STABing them away with supper effective stuff.
>Many Captures tend to have odd dual typings you don't typically see like Elec/Poison, Ice/Fairy, Rock/Steel, Dark/Steel, Fighting/Flying, etc.
>There's tons of unique models, visuals, and buildings.
>The routes are fairly well done. I won't say they're crazy involved but so far they've been interesting visually and how they've been set up. The only thing I wish they had more of were actual caves or something because outside of the World 1 Underground I've seen nothing of the sort sup to World 3 right now.
