No, I played every Souls game on its western release day 1 including the original Demon's Souls.
Elden Ring's first 50 or so hours are my favorite exploration / sense of wonder out of the entire series. The constant recycle of enemies did make the 2nd half of the base game less magical, but I loved exploring the DLC.
