>Simon, now back outside of his mech, looks at Kyle in surprise. He had spent the entire fight reading the Lantern’s mind and analyzing his movements, something Kyle had been completely unaware of. In that brief moment of insight, Simon discovered his biggest weakness, and a plan began to form in his mind.
>With a smirk, Simon steps forward, his voice calm. "You know what? I give up. You win," he says, surprising the Lantern. "You're the better fighter." Kyle is flattered, his pride swelling at Simon’s praise.
>Simon drops to one knee in front of him. "Hey, can I get your autograph?" he asks innocently.
>Kyle Rayner chuckles, "Of course, sir." He takes a pen and signs his name for Simon.
>Simon takes the autograph, smiling. "Thanks... uh... Kilo."
>Kyle Rayner corrects him with a laugh, "It’s Kyle."
>Suddenly, Kyle instantly reverts back into his weak Green Lantern form in front of a fridge containing his deceased girlfriend Alexandra DeWitt. Before he can react properly, Simon jams his Core Drill directly into Kyle’s chest, the force of the blow lifting him off the ground. He opens his hand, causing Kyle to start getting absorbed into the core drill.
>Within moments, all that remains is a stain of blood.
>Simon stands tall, brushing his hands off as he looks down at the remnants of Kyle. "You did just as good as Lordgenome in Lazengann," Simon says, a touch of respect in his voice.
