Just to be clear, I was thinking more along the lines of looking for temporary evasion, rather than moving there. Is it so bad that you literally don't set foot in the countryside, just to be on the safe side? Top-down attempts to restrict something that are ill-planned very often backfire, unfortunately. The backlash against "wokism" and the rise of right-wing populism in the west are an example, too, to an extent.
