I remember when I heard "Cunt Crusher" by Infant Annihilator for the first time. The drummer must be one of the most boring and overly quantized musicians ever. He barely touches the skin of the snare or toms (because the triggers are turned up to maximum sensitivity) and I bet that when he went into the studio he had to do more than 30 takes before it was acceptable.
