T-34 are and always have been pieces of shit in every single instance. Their crew hated them, crammed (even for small-er chinks, vietnamese and malnourished soviets). They were extremly bad to drive, most of the crews couldn't go above second gear because the gearbox was so stiff. Their "armour" was inconsistent at best, because the propaganda slope did work in reality, but the material is more important. The metals they used during the mass productions of those tanks was so bad on the Briner scale that some times even low-powered 37mm german AA guns could utterly destroy the armour from the front, and the weldings were SO bad that even if penetration was not achieved, the whole tank had to be abandoned because the whole UFP would just shift and lock everything up. Let's add that they were utter death traps and had an extreme mortality rate for the crews, when the sherman had one of the best if not the best crew survival rates after being hit. Let's add no radio, bad optics that would fog up and from some industries they literally wouldn't be centered and zeroed, the fact that they couldn't even think about shooting on the move, a worst visibility for the commander, the fact that multiple gas leaks poisoned a lot of the crews yeah, i'd say anon has a point saying that the sherman mogged the T34 in every single way
