Rewatching a few episodes of this show put something in my head ...
If you really want to decapitate a country with small, covert nukes, you aim for the PORTS specifically. No one would have survived at all in the Jericho TV series if it was 24 major ports that got struck instead of random targets, how can a nation survive of it has no ports suddenly to offload massive amounts of goods? You don't decapitate a country by targeting civilians or national symbols, you target the irreplaceable things like the supply lines and such
Two countries like Iran and North Korea working in tandem together on something like this would be all that is needed to wipe out a whole continent, two "scrappy underdogs" that have been eternally shit on technically have the capacity to wipe out the United States Of America or Europe if they REALLY WANTED IT and they probably wouldn't need very much support from Russia or China either to do it.
Jericho will always be one of my favorite TV shows because I do like to think about that specific exercise ALOT
