All interesting historical examples which don't immediately seem relevant but compare it to what happened after 9/11 or 7/7, by all historical standards (including that of their own less than 100 years before) both Britain and America were incredibly soft touch to the muzzies, most muzzies in NYC came AFTER 9/11 (they're only kicking up a fuss over Mamdani because he's vocally indifferent to Israel) and immigration from Pakistan et al only increased into Britain over the years. The BBC article above shows the number of sinecures that were made for muzzies after 7/7 to make them not detonate. The terrorists basically got what they wanted, carving out an entire autonomous millet for their own people within British society while getting increased immigration and promotions.
Now compare this with when Russia/Ukraine kicked off, immediately there were calls to ban Tolstoy and the like, seizing assets of any Russian, demanding that Russians disavow Putin and sign basically disloyalty oaths, while stopping all immigration and travel to Russia.
