Yeah, the whole "Superman is an immigrant" thing is apparently too complex for our retarded us vs. them modern thinking paradigms because YES, he is an immigrant which is important to his identity but he's an immigrant who completely integrates, who embraces American ideals and really comes to represent them.

I've seen conservatives says Superman is a piece of pro-immigrant Jewish subversion and I've heard the left characterize him as "frighteningly nationalist".
People are so politically charged these days that they just see what they want to see and it's easy to find infinite online pundits or clickbait links that will mirror your beliefs (no matter what they are) to give you that positive reinforcement.
