It’s interesting because both Momo and Okarun are both in a state of flux, and while we know they’ll both eventually go back to being at full capacity in their own ways, Momo’s current condition just feels more debilitating.

You would think being utterly powerless would make Okarun less interesting to follow, but the fact that he has to work around not having his powers while also leaving the audience wondering how/when he’ll get them back, or if he gets something new entirely, is enough to be engaging.

Meanwhile, Momo being small is really just a temporary nerf that we know will eventually go away, so the wait for that to happen just feels tedious.
