I personally think, beyond the embarrasment thats normal for kids to have in situations like these, Kris is feeling slighted at how easily Toriel has moved on from her traumas and issues, or at least she appears to have. While Kris doesn't have the freedom to move on from their past, Toriel barely even cares about her past
