oh fuck off, FGO is arguably even worse about it
the genocidal maniacs usually get along great (or well enough) with everyone and also love the MC so there's virtually never any real tension between playable characters
heck, half the time you get a story villain as a playable character the game will pull the "actually this is a different person, tehee~" card (which would actually make sense lorewise if they didn't exclusively apply the rule on a "we felt like it" basis)
