I've been going on night walks hoping for a vampire seductress to give me the kiss of death or kidnap me, but alas. The only eventful thing that happened is finding an earring in the shape and color of a large blood drop. It's old-fashioned looking but unassuming and possibly cheap, but then again I can't tell plastic from ruby; the earring was placed purposefully on someone's front gate close to where I live, not at my front door, and obviously not in their post, but along my usual walk path. I believe with about ~1% certainty that it was left specificaly for me as some symbolic token.

I'm looking forward to the 'blood moon' in a few weeks, it's going to be a beautiful night.
