Do gays ever feel shame for what they do to themselves? Or has the spirit of God completely vacated their bodies?

It seems to me that they do feel some shame, ergo, their ostentatious efforts to feel some kind of solidarity as a "community". The parades, the activism, the ceaseless yapping to uninterested strangers about their sex lives - it seems to reveal a psychological need to attain external validation for their shameful lusts and sex habits.
