This. I'm almost certain this is only happening cause some exec at a board meeting somewhere saw how much bank the Minecraft movie made and wants to cash in. This isn't happening cause some good writer had a good idea, it's gonna be some Alvin and the Chipmunks/Smurfs/what have you tier bullshit.
