I heard in Korean they eventually ended up doing full arts for all cards, not just some of the rares. So that might help down the line. Wasn't really an issue on my end though.

There official website makes reference to a draft format, but I can't find any rules on it. I would absolutely love to teach them about the fun of limited formats early. At the very least I think this game is a great stepping stone for other TCGs as they get older.
