>Dalton Ghisborough, of the esteemed textile factory family Ghisborough. He's a little snappy, immature and flaunts his wealth to poorer students.
>Rachel Ghisborough, also of the same family. She's a touch nicer than her brother... when her narcissism isn't flaring up. She's also an accomplished junior athlete, which she loves to brag about.
>Nicholas King, son of a tech mogul. Nick mostly keeps to himself, although he's made a few friends through the college's sports programs. He likes to read magazines in his spare time.
>Octavia Ainsley, upper middle class. She's got a bad reputation when it comes to lovers, and she's been with both Dalton and Arlen in the last year. She wants to be a pop singer, and records home videos of herself singing.
>Arlen St. Claire, a classic manipulator. He's always convincing other people to do his classwork and assignments for him, and likes to troll on internet forums like a total loser in his spare time. Eternally single.
>Becky Stein, probably the smartest person in their clique. She's close friends with the Ghisborough twins and often studies with them. She's a lot less of a braggart than her friends, and recently got dumped.
> Matthew Kilkelly, the dumbest of the bunch. He's on the track to a star athlete career, but he has rocks in his brains. Somehow in a relationship with Nitya, who tolerates him.
>Nitya Randhawa, a second-generation immigrant from India. She's polite, calm and, for some reason, dating Matthew. Nobody's aware that she's a total gossip, and has covertly caused so much drama, sometimes entirely unintentionally.
