I misread Gohan for Goten and almost got excited
Anyway the whole Black Arc and all of Super in general is predicated on "everyone who isn't Goku or Bejita are shit". The devastated future made since in the Android Arc when Goku was the only strong guy but in Super where there's talented beasts everywhere it made no sense.
