invest in evade window or embolden. maybe throw in a point or two of evade extender as well
I find GS to be kind of an ass matchup for valstrax so I prefer to either go with a shield weapon like lance with max guard, max guard up, and embolden 2 OR a weapon like SA with ew4-5 and ee1. risen valstrax and shaggy are just too much to rawdog with no evasion or guard imo. evasive wirebug moves help of course, but they can't be relied on 100% of the time because bugs are a resource that just can't keep up with what those two speed demons demand
