I'd say it varies wildly depending on the pest. A cat is good to catch a few mice a day, maybe. A dog trained to be a ratter can kill +100 rats in a single day, especially terriers. Livestock guardian dogs can even take care of larger pests and predators like coyotes. There was a Great Pyrenees that fought off 10 coyotes and killed like 7 of them in a few minutes. Dogs are also excellent at fighting off melanin-rich pests.
