I made a blogpost that I actually regretted shortly after making it and it got deleted so I'm actually thankful for that one

i wouldn't want to change their whole characters or anything but it would be interesting to have an episode or two where the Mane 6's races switch around
>Twilight becomes an Earth Pony and can't do magic, she spends the episode researching the problem but being unable to actually cast the spell to fix it, she has to awkwardly instruct the new unicorns on how to fix it despite them being totally new to magic and her being so used to high-level magic that explaining the baby steps is totally foreign to her
>Rarity becomes a Pegasus and is initially intrigued and excited by the new fashion opportunities that having wings presents, but without her magic she runs into issues actually stitching and making the outfits (could lead to her making a new pegasus-focused fashion line once the problem is resolved)
>Rainbowdash becomes an Earth Pony and has to deal with having no wings and being unable to fly, constantly pesters Twilight to hurry up and fix the issue until she becomes too annoying and is sent away, maybe seeks Pinkie's advice on how to make a flying machine like she had in the Gilda episode
>Fluttershy becomes a unicorn, the magic is super helpful for taking care of pets but over the course of the episode she overuses it and becomes too magically controlling, sorta like the Confidence Minotaur episode except she's doing magic to levitate pets or mind control them
>Pinkie becomes a Pegasus and just has tons of fun flying around the whole episode, is probably too busy to meaningfully help Twilight
>Applejack becomes a Unicorn and is initially against using magic on the farm, eventually comes around and becomes insanely productive BUT something with her spells goes wrong and she ends up accidentally bringing her apple orchard to life or causing some other magic related problem, leads to her getting a greater understanding of why she doesn't want Unicorns on the farm in the first place whilst still accepting that their help can be super useful so long as they don't go overboard

>"What? Why is this pony so powerful?"
>"Hahahahahaha..."
>"What are you-"
>"You see Vegeta, you aren't dealing with the average unicorn anymore..."
>"Oh my goooooooood"
>"Twilight Sparkle has risen above, and become a legend. The legend that you fear. The legendary Princess of Friendship!"
