I think there are are several factors playing into it
>Tekken legacy compared to SF legacy
Tekken doesn't really change all that much, yea sometimes new stuff gets added and the community groans very heavily but at its core Tekken kind of stays similar to how its been so when stuff changes like in t8 with the heat system people really hate that shit, compared to SF where every game has a different core mechanic and all the characters are also pretty different, older players might groan and dislike the new systems but since there is not real set in stone legacy just a rough framework changes usually go over much smoother in the community
>Tekken community is the whiniest in the FGC
This one is kinda self explanatory but its very true, it hooks back into the whole tekken legacy, tekken players will whine about the tiniest things and blow them completely out of proportions which is kind of a boy cries wolf situation where it becomes very hard to tell if a complain is serious or just the usual nitpicky whiny complaints, look at season 2 outside people weren't sure which were real complaints and which was just the usual tekken pissyness
>FGC is Street Fighter / Capcom biased
The "dark age of fighting games where fighting games were dead " is a narrative you often hear and how SF4 revived fighting games again, you know except fighting games weren't dead Tekken was around Soul Calibur was around plenty of anime fighters and even NRS games were around.... just capcom fighters weren't, a lot of the FGC are pure capcom heads and if a capcom game isn't the top premiere game they see that as a problem, something that needs to be "fixed"
Overall SF6 commits the same sins T8 does with overly aggressive cave man gameplay and out the wazoo casino guess situations, yes they didn't have a "season 2" incident like T8 but they also have no real patches to speak of, painfully glacial content output and no communication, but the grass is always greener on the other side.
