Because a scythe is actually a very bad weapon for combat despite looking incredibly cool, like seriously look at the picture, the Death Scythe is so cool and I still don't know if it's an actual 9/10 design locked to a collection or if it's a reference to an older title because Final Fantasy reuses concepts a lot.
