remaking games that already have had remakes and ports to modern consoles and storefronts is nothing but a cynical cashgrab aimed at a generation that has been trained to consume only the newest media. They don't want more people to play P4, they want more money. More social media engagement, more review coverage, more character themed drink stores, more stage shows, more ost releases, more va interviews, more dlc costume sales, more spinoffs, more money. They're following a spreadsheet and a script to make P4 relevant again for a while so they can milk it before some other tentpole Atlus release in the future.

Just play P4 right now, its ok and easy to do so. Even if you're too much of a coward to emulate vanilla, Golden is now everywhere.
