There was a somewhat obscure interaction between evolving and effects that set attack/defense to a value. It would come up every now and again and players would discover the interaction for the first time
I guess there is some benefit to streamlining the mechanics, though at the same time, they removed a lot of helper text like (Evolve effects will not activate) on Olivia
