It is unfunny, and it's the fault of the moderation. How funny a place is, is equal to how well policed it is. Reddit has user policing in the form of downvotes, so it's the least funny place.
4chan can be funny, but it's not too different from Reddit anymore; Off-topic threads are killed instantly.
I'll see a thread I want to post in, and it's 404ed when I enter it. That means one of two things is happening.

or

The second option is less likely, because it would be way too tedious, so I'm guessing it's reports. Anyway, I'm glad that the people who ruined my site aren't having fun at all. I legitimately can't see most of this board and I didn't get rid of it manually.
