Russia Hits Kyiv with Missiles and Drones, Two Dead, Over a Dozen Wounded

Russian forces launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv overnight, killing two people and injuring at least 13, Ukrainian officials said on Thursday.
The city's military administration head, Timur Tkachenko, reported that falling debris from the combined assault caused multiple fires across at least six districts. Damage was reported to residential buildings, a gas station, a trolleybus line, and various warehouse and office facilities. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out on the top floor of an apartment building after it was struck by wreckage.
The attacks, which involved both ballistic missiles and Shahed-type drones, prompted air raid alerts starting just after 1:00 AM local time. Authorities warned residents of heavy smoke blanketing the city and advised them to keep their windows closed
