Hot government-affiliated kunoichi fight demons in a seedy Tokyo set 20 minutes into the future. Almost every game stars a duo of Taimanin who get captured in increasingly dumb and contrived ways. Since they're too tough to be tortured normally, the baddies resort to good ol' fashioned rape to break them. The girls get pushed to the brink, make a comeback, wipe out their enemy/escape, and keep on trucking on to fight the good fight. When they're not being used as fleshlights for orcs, they're actually quite badass, and there's a lot of cool lore, characters and political drama built up over the franchise's run.
